Version 0.1.26 · free, no account, no sign-up. After installing, open Configuration → Manage Models to download a speech model — that's the only step that needs the internet.

ZoopZip is a new app, so Windows SmartScreen may warn about it or block it outright the first time you open the installer — this is normal for new software. For the smoothest download, use Chrome, Firefox, or another non-Microsoft browser rather than Edge or Internet Explorer. If SmartScreen still warns you, click "More info", then "Run anyway" to continue.

After installing

Open Configuration → Manage Models and download the small model (or large-v3 for the best accuracy, especially on non-English audio)
Drop an audio or video file onto the window, or click Choose Files
Click Transcribe — everything happens on your computer, nothing is uploaded
